Bumblebee in Weihai.

This is the most fantastic thing I’ve ever done. I’ve bought a bike. A proper bike. With gears and suspension and lights. My last bike in Dongying cost 90 yuan (9 pounds). It rattled and clunked. It’s basket swayed from left to right. It bled rust from every part. Bumblebee cost me 900 and can make speeds I’ve never felt on a bike! I have something to look after. She will never stay outside and I will annoit her with WD 40 every week. She is going to get me places. I already got further down the water front and tomorrow I’m going on a ride round the coast road.

I couldn’t be happier right now. Brilliant.
